Registration is now open for the Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Grants 2024To ensure more effective and equitable criminal justice practices, we need to innovate and evaluate new policy solutions that can be adopted by local, state, and federal policymakers.
The Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowships will support five postdoctoral fellows who are conducting policy-relevant causal research designed to innovate and evaluate cost-effective and scalable policy solutions that promote the effectiveness and equity of criminal justice practices.

The fellowships will commence in September 2024 and will be available for periods of up to three years. Fellows are expected to conduct research relevant to criminal justice practices in the United States and will be required to dedicate up to 25% of their time to working on Arnold Ventures research projects.
Benefits
- Fellows residing in the United States will receive salaries of US$120,000 with full benefits and annual salary increases. Fellows may choose to reside outside the United States and receive scholarships of US$120,000.

- Open to researchers seeking causal research relevant to policy, designed to innovate and evaluate economically viable and scalable policy solutions that promote the effectiveness and equity of criminal justice practices.
- Fellows must have received a doctorate no earlier than September 2019 and no later than September 2024.
- Scholarship recipients will be able to reside in a location of their choosing.

- Proposed research agenda for the fellowship period. The proposed research agenda should not exceed 5 pages (single spacing) and should propose a policy-relevant causal research program designed to innovate and evaluate scalable, cost-effective policy solutions that promote the effectiveness and equity of criminal justice practices.
