Deadline: 15 April to 24 April
The African Cultural Fund (ACF) is looking for proposals specifically dedicated to cultural organisations, as part of the Solidarity Fund for Artists and Cultural Organisations in Africa (SOFACO).

Africa has faced many challenges in recent years, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the global political and economic crises, which have particularly affected the arts and cultural sector. These challenges have led to the closure of several cultural organisations, plunging these entities into a precarious situation. In this context, it is crucial to create aid and support mechanisms to maintain the vitality of the African cultural sector and accompany cultural organisations during this period of transition.
African cultural organisations are invited to submit innovative, high-impact proposals that reflect the diversity and cultural richness of the continent. The selection process will be transparent and rigorous, guaranteeing a fair distribution of resources to the most relevant and promising projects.
In these times of crisis, it is crucial to recognise the vital role played by culture in the resilience of societies. The African Fund for Culture is committed to supporting African cultural organisations in their restructuring process and to promoting the cultural vitality of the continent, even in the face of the most complex challenges.
