Deadline: 14 September 2024
Are you working on a strategic case or seizing an opportunity to reform laws or policies to end gender-based sexual violence? Sign up now at SAHR Gender Justice Accelerator 2024-2025 . Strategic Advocacy for Human Rights (SAHR) is calling for applications from civil society leaders who are seizing an opportunity for law and policy reform, or who are working to implement laws and policies locally to end Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV).
SAHR's Gender Justice Accelerator is a twelve-month mentorship programme that prepares civil society leaders (fellows) with the skills and tools they need to participate meaningfully in SGBV legislation and policy development and implementation. The Accelerator promotes transformation through a comprehensive framework that includes legal guidance, workshops and peer-to-peer collaboration. Fellows emerge equipped with a roadmap for their local policy and legal initiatives, professional skills and lasting connections with other advocates.
Their commitment goes beyond empowerment; they are dedicated to cultivating a cadre of influential leaders who can effectively navigate the realms of politics and decision-making, ultimately working towards the eradication of SGBV. Through their work, they stimulate leadership and amplify voices that often go unheard in crucial decision-making processes.
Benefits
- The fellows receive a grant of 3,000 euros and collaborate with subject matter experts, leaders and change agents through their community of practice to put their ideas into action.
