The European Commission (EC) is accepting proposals for Project Development Assistance for Sustainable Energy Investments.
Objectives
*Project Development Assistance (PDA) provides technical assistance to public and private project developers to deliver energy efficiency and renewable energy investments of ambition and scale.
*The theme aims to support project promoters across Europe to develop replicable solutions that mobilise private capital, combine public funding with private funding, create scalable and long-term financial instruments and at the same time overcome legal and structural barriers, while delivering a highly ambitious sustainable energy project pipeline. Projects are expected to demonstrate an innovative approach, for example by aggregating and structuring investment projects, pushing the boundaries of the market or changing organisational and regulatory structures.

*Scope B: EUR 2 000 000
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, applicants (beneficiaries and affiliated entities) must:
*be legal entities (public or private organisations)
*be established in one of the eligible countries, i.e:
**EU Member States (including Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs))
non-EU countries:
***listed EEA countries and countries associated with the LIFE Programme or countries that are negotiating an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before the grant is signed
***the coordinator must be established in an eligible country.
