The 19th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates invites young leaders and innovators to participate in the PeaceLab Youth Projects. This prestigious event, held in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, from 18 to 21 September 2024, will bring together local and international young people to share innovative ideas for sustainable peace and development.

Event overview PeaceLab Youth Projects provide a unique platform for young people to discuss and present innovative strategies for peacebuilding. This initiative encourages participants to take part in interactive sessions, fostering an environment of shared learning and collaboration. The summit aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to implement positive change in their communities.

Application Guidelines Participants are encouraged to design projects that are interactive and impactful, with a focus on peacebuilding strategies that can be applied locally and globally. Projects should be apolitical and impartial, emphasising practical solutions to real-world challenges.

Eligibility and submission

  • Applicants must be under 35.
  • The event will be hybrid, allowing both face-to-face and online participation.
  • Entries must be submitted by 1st August 2024 at 23:59 UTC.

Evaluation and awards A committee will analyse all the applications and present the five best to the Nobel Peace Prize winners, who will select the final winners. The evaluation criteria include the relevance of the project, cultural and social importance, commitment to sustainable peace and development, innovation, use of technology and social media and clarity of the proposal.

The winners will receive financial support to implement their projects, making this an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible impact.
