Who can apply for the IFCD?

- The IFCD is aimed at specific organisations in developing countries that are parties to the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. Eligible organisations are:

- Non-governmental organisations (NGOs):

NGOs from developing countries that are signatories to the Convention can apply, as long as they present projects that promote structural and sustainable changes in the cultural and creative sector.

- Public authorities and institutions:

Government institutions or public bodies (e.g. ministries, cultural secretariats or other state organisations) from developing countries that are members of the Convention are also eligible.

Limit: Up to two (2) applications from public authorities/institutions per country may be shortlisted.
