About

The programme Her Africa Early Stage Incubator (HAESI)  is a pioneering initiative launched by Alliance for Women and Girls (AFWAG) . Its aim is to empower early-stage social entrepreneurs who are founders of organisations and initiatives that support women and girls across the continent. Recognising the unique challenges and needs associated with initiatives that address social issues, the incubator provides a support model that goes beyond traditional business support to global leadership and improved organisational sustainability.

Who should apply?

  • Social entrepreneurs under the age of 35.
  • You must have started an organisation or social project with no more than three years of support for women and girls in an African country. Exceptional social entrepreneurs in the conception phase are encouraged to apply.
  • The organisation or idea must address critical social issues such as education, health, gender equality, environmental sustainability and poverty reduction, specifically for women and girls.
