Programme Overview
The Equity and Merit Scholarships was developed to empower young professionals from the Global South, enabling them to contribute significantly to sustainable development in their home countries. These scholarships support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by providing opportunities for students with academic excellence who do not have the financial means to study in Manchester without assistance. The programme promotes equal opportunities, with a particular emphasis on encouraging women to apply.
