Registration is now open for the Changemaker Authors Cohort 2025 The Changemaker Authors Cohort supports full-time movement activists and social justice professionals to complete books that create profound and lasting narrative change that reshapes how people feel, think, and respond to the world. This program supports group members to make significant progress on their projects by the end of each period, which includes manuscript completion or the preparation of a manuscript or proposal for submission.
Cohort members will enroll for an initial four-month term beginning March 1, 2025. Cohort members who attend all sessions may apply for two 4-month extensions to participate in the program for a full year ending February 28, 2026. The program is cohort-based, created by the Narrative Initiative and the Unicorn Authors Club, and partially funded by the Ford Foundation.

Eligibility
They are seeking candidates who work for racial and social justice (e.g., activists, organizers, community educators) who:
- They are not full-time writers.
- Have a book in progress or a well-developed book idea.
- She will consistently set aside time for writing and will participate in online coaching sessions, group meetings, and a 5-day writing retreat mid-year.
- Having a history of making changes in the community and working on social justice issues.
