The Winter Fellowship 2025 offers professionals at the start of their careers and those new to governance of AI a unique three-month opportunity to delve deeper into AI governance research. Fellows will work on independent projects, gain insights into the field and connect with a global network of experts and practitioners. This fellowship is ideal for individuals eager to explore the long-term implications of advanced AI and contribute to shaping its future.
About the bag
Participants will join GovAI in Oxford, UK, from January to April (precise dates to be determined) and will receive a £9,000 bursary, plus travel support. Fellows will engage in independent research with guidance from renowned experts, participate in Q&A sessions, research seminars and work-in-progress meetings, and have opportunities to publish their work. The programme is particularly suitable for those with interests in science politics, public policy, history, economics, sociology, law, philosophy and computer science, although candidates from all disciplines are welcome.
