Atlas4dev, in partnership with the AU Youth Envoy Office and with the support of the Peace First organisation and the Department of Cooperation and Cultural Action of the French Embassy in Morocco, is launching the 2nd edition of the 2063 Academy, from 23 to 28 November.

After the success of the first edition, the 2063 Academy, in its 2nd edition, will serve as a platform to connect African youth with their Africa, through the promotion, discussion, debate of Agenda 2063 and bringing solid recommendations and entrepreneurial solutions to achieve "the Africa we want", building the capacities of the "African Youth We Want", under the OYE 2019/20 Action Plan. The edition will take place virtually in November to celebrate African Youth Month, promote the role of youth in silencing the guns and be part of the 1 Million by 2021 initiative.

The 2nd edition will focus on two important themes: climate change and gender equality.

Eligibility criteria:

- Aged between 16 and 29

- African citizen

- Available from 23 to 28 November 2020 - Ready to go out there and make an impact

The management committee will select 15 young people per country. Upon completion of the programme, participants will receive coaching and mentoring from experts and a seed grant of up to 250 dollars (each group of 5 participants) to carry out actions and create an impact in their local communities.
