About the Hackathon
The Financial Alliance for Women Hackathon 2024 presents a unique opportunity for fintechs to learn how to become gender smart. This event is calling on all fintechs around the world to solve one of the following challenges:
- Financing companies owned/led by women
- Building the Entrepreneurial Capacity of Women Entrepreneurs
- Transforming women's investment capabilities in the mass market
- Greening the FMC for women
Participation benefits
The fintechs selected to take part in the Alliance Hackathon 2024 will:
- Receive individual guidance from a group of highly experienced mentors.
- Take part in peer-learning clinics focused on building a successful women-centred strategy.
- Have the opportunity to present in front of a panel of high-impact executives from global financial services institutions.
Awards and Recognition
- The winning fintech will be crowned as FINTECH FEMALE ECONOMY OF THE YEAR 2024 and receive a cash prize of US$ 25 thousand .
- The first three winners will also receive a free one-year membership to the Financial Alliance for Women, providing access to the world's largest network of financial service providers with winning strategies for Women's Markets.
