The FIT4Mentorship Programme is dedicated to supporting women in technology who want to increase their mentoring and leadership skills. The initiative also seeks to strengthen the capacity of ISOs in promoting female tech mentors in various sectors. This programme is a collaborative effort offered to you by BongoHive, Zanga Metrics and SPARK, with SPARK being implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
Objectives
The main objectives of the FIT4Mentorship Programme include:
- Empowering female tech models: Equip existing female tech leaders with the tools and resources they need to become effective mentors and role models.
- Improve visibility: Increasing the visibility of female technology role models through targeted initiatives and platforms designed to inspire the next generation of women in technology.
- Establishing a community of support: Creating a robust network of female tech role models who can collaborate, share experiences and support each other's professional growth.
- Contributing to Gender Equity: To strengthen visibility and the avenues through which female tech role models can share their experiences and provide guidance, with the aim of promoting a more gender-equitable perception of the industry.
