Applications are now open for o The World Around Young Climate Prize 2025 . The award was conceived by New York-based non-profit organisation The World Around to support the generation of designers and activists who were born in the midst of the climate crisis and are uniquely placed to tackle it. The award pairs young change agents with mentors from the international design community who can accelerate the impact of their work and connect them to a global network of like-minded people.
The 25 selected individuals under the age of 25 will be accompanied and mentored by one of The World Around Design Champions, a group of world-renowned architects, urban planners and designers. Each mentee will have sessions of at least three hours with their mentor to expand their projects, come up with new ideas and get inspiration from a caring professional. In addition to the 1:1 mentoring sessions, the group will also embark on a 'Design Academy'. Every weekend, the World Around Young Climate Prize will hold virtual workshops to support everything from marketing and fundraising to graphic design, communication and film production. These workshops are also a great time to meet the rest of the group!

Benefits
- 25 under-25s will be mentored and three winners will win a trip to New York to present their work at the prestigious Annual Summit of The World Around in 2025.
Eligibility
- Open to anyone aged between 13 and 25 who uses design, architecture, technology and creative and cultural skills in the fight against the climate emergency.
- Candidates can come from anywhere in the world.
Application
