Applications are now open for the bp Net Zero scholarship to attend the One Young World Summit 2024 . As bp moves closer to net zero, it is committed to listening, learning and working with others. That's why bp is pleased to support the Net Zero Scholarship, a programme to identify and engage young innovators who are reimagining energy for people and the planet today.
The fellows will join the bp delegation at the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, where they will meet and exchange ideas with colleagues from across the company.

The scholarship seeks candidates who have an impact in one of the following areas:
- Defending progressive climate policies
- Improving current low-carbon energy technologies, such as solar and wind power
- Improving access to low-carbon energy
- Innovating to reduce emissions in households, regions, cities and industries
Benefits
Scholarship holders will receive:

- Citizens of all countries will be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
- Commitment to delivering positive change.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Understanding of the main local and/or global issues.
- One Young World will actively seek out and prioritise candidates who are making an impact in at least one of the following areas:

Application
The majority of delegates are aged between 18 and 30. The One Young World team will consider applications from people over 30, pending demonstration of appropriate personal impact, initiative and willingness to get involved. They cannot accept applications from people who are under 18 at the time of the Summit.
