- Each team must be associated with one or more collegiate institutions and include at least one faculty advisor.
- Several collegiate institutions can combine to form a team.
- A faculty advisor can advise several teams.
- Each collegiate institution is entitled to up to four team entries.
- Each team must have at least three students (see section student qualifications ).
- One student must be designated as the Student Team Leader.
- There is no maximum number of student team members.
- At least one student and one faculty member from each finalist team are required to take part in the face-to-face finals.

By completing the registration form, you will create your team's official entry into the competition, allowing you to collaborate, send project details and compete for recognition on an international stage.
