Applications are now open for the Management Global Governance (MGG) Academy 2024 . The MGG Academy is a training and dialogue format for highly qualified young professionals from emerging powers and Europe. It supports future agents of change who are dedicated to global co-operation and transformation towards sustainability.
Tackling global challenges by building trust, learning from diverse perspectives and co-creating solutions are the key assets of the MGG Academy. The diverse, full-time programme brings together participants from government institutions, think tanks and research institutions, civil society and the private sector in Brazil, China, Europe, India, Indonesia, Mexico and South Africa.

Scholarships
- Participants in the MGG Academy receive a grant from the German Federal Government. The grant covers current living costs, all MGG-related costs and travelling expenses in Germany and Europe, as well as health, personal liability and accident insurance during training in Germany.
- The grant guarantees an adequate standard of living in Germany. However, it is not enough to provide financial support to families or relatives, either for a visit to Germany or at home.
Eligibility
Potential participants must:
- Be a national or permanent resident of one of the participating countries.
- Have the support of your employer (written support is required as part of the application).
- have a university degree (minimum Bachelor's degree).
- Have a passion for global co-operation and sustainable development.
- Be ready to take part in an intensive full-time programme (8 hours a day, 40-hour working week).
- Work in a partner institution of the MGG network or in an institution that is interested in future co-operation.
- Have a good command of the English language (equivalent to level B2 of the CEFR).
- Be between 25 and 40 years old. (Older candidates who have taken longer periods of care, parental leave or sick leave may be considered).
- Have at least three years' professional experience (unpaid experience is also recognised).
- Be sensitive to other cultures, open to teamwork and a wide variety of working methods.

- Grant their employees special leave for the training period and release them from work-related duties for the duration of the MGG Academy.
- Cover the cost of travelling to and from Germany.
- Reach an agreement that guarantees the standard of living of the employee's relatives in their country of origin.
- Support your employees in transferring their newly acquired skills to their work.
