The year 2024 will see four new editions of SportBoot Camp on the Cape Verde islands. The competition for entrepreneurial ideas to revolutionise the sports sector will pass through São Filipe in Fogo, Vila Nova de Sintra in Brava, Santa Maria in Sal and Ribeira Brava in São Nicolau.

Entrepreneurs should be aware of the dates:

- 12th edition in São Filipe, Fogo, from 26th February to 1st March;

- 13th edition in Vila Nova de Sintra, in Brava, from 4th to 9th March;

- 14th edition in Santa Maria, Sal, from 18 to 23 March;

- 15th edition in Ribeira Brava, São Nicolau, from 22nd to 27th April.

2024 will also be the year of the third edition of the Sport Accelerator Lab, which will bring together more than 10 projects that took part in the 2023 SportBoot Camp in Espargos, on the island of Sal, from 3 to 8 June 2024. The programme consists of six months of mentoring, with one part face-to-face and the other remote, totalling 36 hours of training and 42 hours of project mentoring.

The first edition of the SBC began in 2019. Since then, this competition has trained more than a hundred projects dedicated to the sports sector, some of which are already national references.
