The Business & Human Rights Accelerator is a six-month programme that activates companies participating in the UN Global Compact in all sectors and regions. The aim is to help companies move quickly from commitment to action on human rights and labour rights by establishing an ongoing human rights due diligence process.

- Identify and assess your company's actual or potential adverse impacts on human rights
- Learn how to integrate these findings into all processes and take the appropriate measures
- Monitor the effectiveness of measures and processes to see if they are working
- Communicate how impacts are being addressed and show stakeholders that your company is taking action and seeing results
- Build a network of peers, UN partners and experts to support your human rights journey and work collectively to tackle persistent obstacles to implementing an effective human rights due diligence process
ELIGIBILITY
To take part in the Business and Human Rights Accelerator, companies must be participants in the UN Global Compact
or willing to join. Your company should be too:
- Currently engaged with a Global Compact Local Network in your region or willing to participate
- Willing to identify their human rights impacts and define a central area of their value chain for greater focus
- Able to appoint two representatives to participate in Accelerator activities and peer learning sessions
- An executive-level representative to follow the Accelerator's developments, provide support and participate
of high-level events - Able to appoint an executive-level representative
