Since 2019, The Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) has become one of the largest and most diverse startup pitch competitions and support programmes of its kind, with more than 370,000 entrepreneurs from over 200 countries and territories, offering winners life-changing prizes.
The EWC awarded US$ 4 million in cash prizes and US$ 150 million in in-kind prizes and offered opportunities for entrepreneurs to reach the next stage in their company's journey.

Eligibility
- There is no registration fee.
- Any startup from all over the world is welcome to apply and become a candidate.
- Applicant start-ups must be legally registered or planning to register in their country of residence.
- Applicant startups must be ten years old or younger by the date of the Global Finals. The age of the organisation is defined by the date of registration of the company and not by the conception of the idea.
- EWC Global Winners who have won cash prizes during previous editions of the EWC Global Finals (2019-2023) are eligible to participate again in 2024 with certain application considerations for future potential prizes:
- EWC candidates can only be eligible for prize categories other than the prize they won during their previous participation in the competition.
- Only the winners of the EWC Grand Prix (first place overall) are not eligible to participate as candidates for the EWC 2024.
- All second to fifth place winners and/or category winners are eligible and encouraged to enter, but cannot compete for the same place.
- To encourage fairness in the competition, there is no fast track for previous winners to compete in the Global Finals, and all candidates will go through the same judging process.
- For example: entrant A wins the Idea Stage award in 2021. If Entrant A reapplies, he/she will only be considered for EWC category awards and/or awards not classified in the Idea Stage
- For example: entrant B wins a specific category prize in 2023. If Candidate B reapplies, he/she will only be considered for any category award except the award he/she previously won and/or all classified awards.
- For example: entrant C won second place in 2020. If Contestant B reapplies, they will only be considered for EWC category awards and/or any classified award except second place.
