If you care about environmental issues and want to make a difference in your community, Bow Seat invites you to take part in the Fellowship Programme! The Fellowship is an initiative created and led by Future Blue Youth Council (FBYC), a diverse group of Bow Seat alumni who work together to empower their peers to advocate for a healthy, sustainable and equitable future.
The Fellowship Programme offers mentoring and funding of up to US$ 2,500 to young leaders who are developing projects that address environmental challenges in their local communities
Benefits:
- Grant Money: the selected fellows will receive a grant of up to $2500 USD to finance their environmental projects
- Networking: access to a community of other scholars
- Mentoring: fellows will be mentored and supported by the Blue Future Youth Council
Registration process:
Applications are accepted from continuous form and interested candidates should fill in the enrolment form online
The selection committee will analyse your application, conduct interviews (if necessary) and make final decisions within approximately one month of receiving your application.
Applications will be assessed on the basis of project performance:
- It is in line with the objectives of the Scholarship Programme;
- Demonstrates knowledge of the subject;
- He is thoughtful in his approach;
- It is realistic in its objectives (which includes demonstrating an adequate budget and timeline); and
- It is likely to result in measurable impacts.

Fully financed
Eligibility:
- This programme is open to young people from all over the world aged between 13 and 22; however, applications must be in English.
- Proof of age, identity or eligibility may be required.
- Applications can be submitted by an individual or by a group of unlimited size. Groups must select a group leader to serve as the main contact.
- Only one application per student is allowed. However, students can apply to other Bow Seat programmes, such as the Ocean Awareness Contest.
- New or emerging projects or organisations less than two years old that address environmental issues
