The Human Rights Essay Award is an annual prize sponsored by the Academy with the aim of encouraging the production of academic articles in the field of international human rights law. The theme of the 2024 award is "Protecting and Guaranteeing Human Rights in Digital Environments". Participants have the flexibility to choose any subject related to this theme. However, the scope of the essay must correspond directly to the 2024 theme, or it will be disqualified. In addition, we would like to note that we believe that International Human Rights Law includes International Humanitarian Law and International Criminal Law.
