Applications are now being accepted for the Ian Photojournalism Scholarship Parry 2023 to support young and emerging photographers as they embark on their careers in the world of photojournalism.
Ian Parry offers financial support, mentoring and ongoing assistance to promote the work. It is important to emphasise that the beneficiary becomes part of a network of former beneficiaries and a family extensive of people who care deeply about the stock market and believe in the importance of photojournalism.

- Each winner will receive £10,000 for their chosen project.
- Equipment loan for 1 year for the winner of the IP grant to complete their proposed project.

- Eligible for inclusion in the Visa Pour L'Image Broadcast Programme in Perpignan.
- A review of the London portfolio with leading experts of the sector.
- A one-year personal mentoring programme with an industry expert.

- In addition, each year a selection of long-listed individuals will have their work highlighted by the industry's panel of judges.

Eligibility Criteria
- If you have reached the age of 25 (or under) within the year you are entering, regardless of educational status, you are eligible to apply for the Open Call. If you are 25 or older, you must be enrolled in a full-time photography course to be eligible to apply.
- They welcome entries from all countries and there are no geographical limits to submission.
- They do not accept staged or digitally manipulated photographic works.
- You can enter up to 12 images from the same series.
Requirements
- Participants must not be older than 24 or enrolled in a full-time photography course at the time of registration.
- Participants will have to provide:
- 1 Project per submission
- A portfolio of 12 images
- Image specification - 300dpi RGB jpgs
- Minimum 2500px on the long edge
- Project title, description, subtitles
- Project proposal for grant funds
- Proof of age and/or proof of school course
