YOUNGO is organising a session to address one of the impeding needs of African Youth to accelerate climate action; which is access to finance. If you are a Young African with a Climate Project that requires funding, then this opportunity is for you.
This event will provide a platform for young people to showcase their climate projects that require immediate funding and for the funders in the room to introduce themselves and connect with them. The main objective is to showcase viable youth-led climate projects, share their best practices, identify funding needs and gaps.

Eligibility: This call for interest is being distributed to select around 7 to 10 youth projects. The projects will be selected on the basis of a set of criteria.

• You are a member of a youth-led movement or between 18 and 35 years old.
• Have a project lasting 3 years or more.
• Demonstrate previous experience in similar projects and/or provide a long-term strategy for the project idea
• Can share the project proposal and budget with the team and funders
• Produce a 2-minute documentary about the project idea (videos longer than 2 minutes will be rejected). It must be engaging for the audience.
