Applications are now open for the ACT Foundation Changemakers Innovation Challenge 2023 . The Changemakers Innovation Challenge was conceived by the ACT Foundation as a response to the impressive work of community-based non-profit organisations, businesses and social enterprises in Africa that are harnessing technology/digital tools to create social change in their communities. Research shows that the majority of non-profit organisations using technology/digital tools to design and develop communities are getting ahead in the world and also creating lasting impact.

The challenge is open to non-profit organisations and social enterprises across Africa that are using various technological/digital tools to create innovative social solutions. The support, including funding and training, is to enable them to increase their impact within the community where they currently operate and beyond.
