The Global Good Fund Fellowship is designed for innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders of for-profit and non-profit social impact organisations. This curriculum is designed to develop leaders and entrepreneurs from a variety of ethnic, religious, economic, geographical and gender backgrounds. Ideal entrepreneurs are committed to self-discovery and development and should occupy a full-time leadership role in their social enterprise that has been in operation for at least two to five years.
They are looking for leaders who are scaling their business and want to increase their leadership skills according to the needs of their organisation. Leaders should be eager to be coached, have a growth mindset and be enthusiastic about personalised mentoring that will propel their organisation and teams to success. Applicants must be willing to commit to a 12-month hybrid programme.
Eligibility
- The company the candidate leads has been in operation for at least two years.
- The company employs a minimum of two full-time paid staff.
- The role of the candidate is that of a primary decision-maker, in other words, the role you occupy is:
- C-Suite (CEO, COO, CTO, CFO etc.)
- Co-Founder & C-Suite
- Executive Director
- The candidate is committed full-time to running the company.
- The enterprise that the candidate is leading is mission-driven, which means that the only objective is not to make a profit, but also to have a positive impact on society.
Additional considerations:
- The company the candidate is leading can be a for-profit, non-profit or hybrid company
- The company's scope of work can be international, domestic or both
- The company has developed an effective business model and is therefore well positioned (or is able to provide evidence demonstrating a high level of potential) to scale in the long term
- The company is addressing issues in the following sectors: Financial Inclusion, Environment, Education, Economic Mobility and Health. However, we will consider candidates who fall outside these areas as related to their potential for social impact and systemic change
- Applicants should not receive formal coaching/mentoring support; if you are applying for other scholarships within the same scholarship cycle, make sure this is indicated in your application.
