If you are a non-profit organisation or foundation of women that advocates for gender justice, you may be interested in applying for a grant from Global Fund for Women's Grant Programme. The programme is currently accepting applications from qualified initiatives and organisations.
The Global Fund for Women envisions a world where gender justice movements have transformed power and privilege for the few into equity and equality for all. They fund bold, ambitious and expansive gender justice movements to create meaningful change that will last beyond their lifetimes.
Its main objective is to raise funds for gender justice movements around the world. Their movement-led approach allows movements to determine their own needs and allocate funding accordingly through Movement Committees, a type of participatory grantmaking. As funders, their aim is to provide resources that strengthen the agency, participation and power of movements working directly in their communities to improve gender equality.
