Awarded annually since 2018, the Arrell Global Food Innovation Awards recognise the unique approaches and achievements of individuals and organisations around the world. The two $100,000 prizes are awarded in these categories: innovation in research and innovation in community involvement.

The Arrell Food Institute recognises the global leaders who ensure the future food security of the planet, and hopes to inspire new leaders to take bold steps towards change. Scientific excellence and community involvement are needed to overcome the challenges our world will face in feeding 9 billion people and beyond.

ELIGIBILITY

Citizens of any country are eligible for nomination, with no restrictions on gender, race, religion, creed or residence.
Nominations can come from private companies, academic institutions, government units, charitable foundations and non-profit organisations. In the case of multiple nominations from a single organisation, only the one with the most recent date will be accepted.
