OPEN by CSI Energy invests in women-led companies within the energy sector in Africa, growing their businesses through access to funds and expertise to maximise their impact and profitability.

Call for applications
OPEN by CSI Energy seeks to invest in women-led businesses in the energy sector or those that form part of the energy value chain in Africa. The programme also seeks to invest up to 100,000 USD as an equity investment, with a comprehensive support package tailored to the needs of your business.

Women-led businesses operating in Africa with an annual turnover of more than 25,000 USD per year and with at least 3 employees are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Individuals

• He is totally dedicated to the company.
• You're focused on business
• Open to coaching
• You want a strategic investor to grow your business

For companies

• Your company generates consistent revenue over 12 months from an established customer base - at least 25,000 USD and has at least 3 employees.
• Your service or product can be scaled, or replicated
• Your company operates with all administrative documents up to date
• Your company is a registered limited company with well-maintained accounting records, permits and licences that allow you to operate
• It has a team with courtesy skills on site.
• It has a positive impact on the economy, the environment and society.
• Your company has significant female representation in all sectors, leadership positions and the supply chain
• Your company must be located and operate in Africa. Preference is given to companies located in the geographies in which we operate, including Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Burundi, Uganda, Zambia, Mauritius and Rwanda.
