500px is proud to announce the second edition of the 500px Global Photography Awards. These awards were created to recognise and highlight the incredible talent within the photography industry and the 500px community.
Submit your best photos from 2022 to win one of six cash prizes, your photo published in our 2022 collectible photo book, a Pro membership, and much more.
Categories
There are six categories to choose from. Each category will have 1 category winner and 5 finalists. To be eligible, submitted images must have been captured or uploaded for the first time to 500px between 1 January 2022 - 31 December 2022.
Technique: Images that take into account lines, texture, colour, size and depth and result in a high-quality representation of the subject
Storytelling: Images that create an arc that makes viewers wonder what came before and what will come next
Commercial content: Images taken with the intention of selling, advertising or commercialising a business, a product, a service, a person or persons.
Documentary: Images that show the world around us in a realistic and honest way
Fine art: Images created as a means of expression, with an undeniable imaginative and aesthetic quality for them
Landscape: Images that capture the spaces within the world, both vast and untouched terrains or environments
What our editors are looking for:
- Focus on quality over quantity. We want to see your best work
- Choose a category that best suits your image
- Make sure you're uploading your photo with the correct metadata
- Review the inspiration galleries to get a better idea of what the judges are looking for
