Project Lead Organisation / Application
There are two types of lead in the energy catalyst, an administrative lead, which will start the application, and a technological lead.
An administrative lead is there to act as the recipient of the award and will distribute the funding to all the other partners. This is known as a "hub and spoke" model when there is an international partner in the consortium. The administrative lead will manage and be responsible for the project's finances, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the award.
The administrative line manager must:
- Be registered in the UK
- Apply for funding through this competition
- A technology leader will lead the development of the scope, work packages within the project and other work from a technical perspective.
The technological vanguard:
- can be from anywhere in the world
- must apply for grant funding through this competition
- can be an SME, RTO or academic institution
Organisations registered in the UK can be either the administrative or technical lead if the criteria are met for both types of lead.
