This program is designed to support founders who have already demonstrated viability and initial growth, offering the resources, knowledge, and access to the necessary networks to reach new levels of success. The aim is that, over the next few years, until 2026, a significant number of Cape Verdean companies will transcend their current borders, becoming leaders in their sectors, both nationally and internationally.
We believe that Cape Verde has immense potential for innovation and the creation of sustainable businesses. However, many founders face considerable challenges when trying to scale their operations, from obtaining additional funding and expanding teams to optimizing processes and entering new markets. Cascador ScaleUp 2026 The program aims to act directly in these critical areas, providing an intensive mentoring cycle, specialized workshops, and networking opportunities with investors, strategic partners, and policymakers. The program curriculum will be designed to address topics such as aggressive growth strategies, advanced financial management, digital and expansion marketing, talent management, and business sustainability.
Approximately 20 founders and their teams will be selected for this edition of the program, based on a rigorous evaluation process that will consider the business's growth potential, the scalability of the business model, and the founding team's execution capacity. Selection will prioritize sectors with high potential for economic and social impact in Cape Verde, such as sustainable tourism, the blue economy, information and communication technologies (ICTs), and renewable energies. The program will culminate in a project presentation event for investors and potential partners, creating a favorable environment for fundraising and the formalization of strategic collaborations.
