With great enthusiasm, we present the “Ray of Hope Accelerator – Startups Inspired by NatureThis is an unprecedented initiative aimed at boosting the innovation ecosystem in Cape Verde, with an intrinsic focus on sustainability and leveraging the archipelago's natural resources. This accelerator offers substantial financial support of up to €15,000 per selected startup, a strategic investment to transform promising ideas into resilient businesses with a positive impact.

We believe that nature, with its richness and diversity, holds untapped potential for creating innovative solutions. The startups that join Ray of Hope will be those that have demonstrated a strong ability to think outside the box, devising products, services, or business models inspired by Cape Verdean ecosystems, its plants, marine fauna, or natural processes. Whether in sustainable agriculture, ecotourism, renewable energy, waste management, or biotechnology, the goal is to catalyze projects that promote the economic development of Cape Verde in an ecologically responsible way.

The acceleration program includes intensive and personalized mentoring. Selected startups will benefit from specialized mentoring, workshops on management, marketing, sustainability, and access to networks of investors and strategic partners. The accelerator's structure is designed to provide the tools and knowledge necessary for these young companies not only to survive but to thrive, facing market challenges with confidence and aiming for a greener and more prosperous future for Cape Verde.
