FORBES APEUR is looking for Africans under 30, who run cargo-building brands, create jobs and transform the continent, to join the magazine's under-30 community by 2021.

Attention entrepreneurs, creatives, sports stars and tech geeks - nominations for FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 20 are officially open.

Every year, FORBES AFRICA looks for resilient start-ups, innovators, entrepreneurs and disruptors who have the vision to stay the course in their chosen field, no matter what.

The FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 list is the most anticipated list of game changers on the continent and this year we're looking for 30 of Africa's brightest under the age of 30 in these categories: business, technology, creative and sport.

Continuing with a final list of 30, this year will go down in history as the year the under-30s survived and thrived during one of the most turbulent periods on record: the global COVID-19 pandemic.

"The FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 list is the most coveted list of the year, and we will be celebrating seven years of the list in 2021. What will make this compilation even more compelling will be the fighting spirit of the candidates who made it through a difficult year. They need to be further honoured for their tenacity and resilience as leaders who chart a non-linear path to success," says Renuka Methil, editor-in-chief of FORBES AFRICA.

If you think you have what it takes to be on this year's list, or if you know an entrepreneur, creator, tech entrepreneur or sports star under the age of 30 with proven experience on the continent, introduce them to FORBES AFRICA by submitting your application.
The process of

The first step will be to assess your motivation. If you don't receive a response from us (within a specific timeframe), consider your nomination unsuccessful.

The second stage will require potential candidates to submit further documentation for the next stage of assessment.

The third step will include an analysis of your financial data, your revenue model and your credibility, as extensive research will be carried out into your identity and your company/team (no criminal record, worrying lawsuits/bankruptcies, allegations of crime, bad behaviour, sexual harassment/abuse or fraud).

In the final stage, a panel of expert judges will evaluate the strong candidates, bringing them back to the 30 finalists. The editorial and research team will make the final selection based on the judges' scores/observations and adjust the diversity according to the type of business, gender, background, etc.
