The Olympic Experience: A Youth Ambassador's Journey in Greece
Applications are now open for a 12-day training programme in Greece for a young person who wants to become an Olympic Ambassador.
The training will take place in Olympia, the birthplace of the Ancient Olympic Games, from 7 to 19 June, under the auspices of the International Olympic Academy and offers a unique opportunity and experience to live in a multicultural environment for a fortnight.
The session aims to bring together young people of different nationalities, in a spirit of friendship and co-operation, to encourage them to build knowledge as worthy ambassadors of Olympism.
According to the selection rules, applications will be considered from young people aged between 20 and 30 who are proficient in English or French. Women are strongly encouraged to take part.
Also assessed will be the project they want to implement in Cape Verde to promote Olympism, their involvement with the sports community and training or participation in actions to promote Olympism.
