Funding opportunities for young African entrepreneurs through TEEP
The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) is a flagship initiative that aims to empower and support young African entrepreneurs. Launched in 2015, TEEP has already impacted more than 15,000 entrepreneurs in 54 African countries.
The programme offers a comprehensive package of support, including business training, mentoring, access to funding and a global network of entrepreneurs. Successful applicants receive start-up capital of US$ 5,000, online training and access to experienced mentors.
TEEP is open to young African entrepreneurs aged between 18 and 35 who have innovative, high-potential businesses. Candidates are assessed on the basis of their business plans, growth potential and social impact.
The programme has been instrumental in empowering young African entrepreneurs and promoting the continent's economic development. TEEP beneficiaries have created more than 400,000 jobs and generated more than US$ 10 billion in revenue.
In addition to financial and training support, TEEP also provides a platform for entrepreneurs to connect, learn from each other and share ideas. The TEEP alumni network is a vibrant community of entrepreneurs who support each other and collaborate on projects.
TEEP is an investment in Africa's future. By empowering young entrepreneurs, the programme is helping to create a new generation of business leaders who will drive the continent's economic growth and social development.
If you are a young African entrepreneur with an innovative business idea, TEEP is a unique opportunity to take your business to the next level. The programme offers you the support and resources you need to turn your vision into reality.
