FIBA Foundation opens applications for 2025
The FIBA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), has announced the opening of the application window for its 2025 programme. The foundation seeks to support projects that promote the development of basketball around the world, particularly in underprivileged communities.
The FIBA Foundation programme offers grants for projects that focus on three main areas: youth development, education and inclusion. Eligible projects must demonstrate a clear and sustainable impact on the communities they serve.
To qualify for a grant, organisations must be non-profit and have a proven track record of working in the field of basketball. Projects must be innovative, scalable and aligned with the FIBA Foundation's objectives.
The application process is competitive and organisations are encouraged to submit high-quality proposals that demonstrate the potential of their projects to create a positive impact. The foundation will provide guidance and support throughout the application process.
The application window will be open until 31 March 2024. Interested organisations are encouraged to visit the FIBA Foundation website for more information and to access the application form.
The FIBA Foundation is committed to supporting the growth and development of basketball around the world. By providing grants for innovative projects, the foundation aims to empower communities and create opportunities for everyone to experience the transformative benefits of sport.
Therefore, organisations that share the FIBA Foundation's passion for promoting basketball are encouraged to apply for the 2025 programme. Together, we can work to create a brighter future for the sport and the communities it serves.
