About the Award: Gain lifelong skills and experiences that will set you apart among your peers. The knowledge gained from this ambassador programme is valuable for students interested in leadership, business, marketing or advertising throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

Solve Education! empowers young people to empower themselves through education, gamifying learning for lifelong benefits. As a Solve Education! Campus Ambassador, you'll promote lifelong learning on your campus through gamified platforms such as Ed the bot, a friendly gaming robot and learning buddy that seeks to change the way knowledge is assimilated, one game at a time.

Type: Training

Eligibility: Successful candidates are enthusiastic about gamified, long-term learning, have a history of leadership and a track record of mobilising young people.

  • They must be enrolled, full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students at a sub-Saharan African higher institution of learning.
  • Has experience in engaging stakeholders within the school community.
  • You can work remotely for approximately 3-5 hours a week, on and off campus, from February to October 2021.
  • They are excellent communicators who are motivated and inspired to succeed.
  • It should be available for travelling by the last quarter of 2021.

Ed, the bot is a gaming bot that aims to change the way knowledge is assimilated, one game at a time. It guarantees lifelong learning and kicks against studying only for grades. With this information, be prepared to answer the following in a video:

  1. Come up with a plan for everyone to learn with a chatbot on your campus (2mins)
  2. How would you promote a learning environment on your campus using telegram? (2mins)
  3. What are your professional aspirations? What are the skills you want to learn that you think will be useful in the future? (1min)
