Overview of the Wageningen University & Research 2025 Africa Scholarship Programme (ASP)
Wageningen University & Research (WUR) is pleased to announce the Africa Scholarship Programme 2025 (ASP), a comprehensive initiative designed to empower young African students with exceptional potential. The ASP aims to promote the academic and professional development of future leaders in Africa by supporting their studies on selected master's programmes at WUR.
The programme offers full scholarships covering tuition fees, health insurance, travel expenses and a monthly allowance for living expenses. In addition to financial support, ASP scholars will also benefit from personalised academic guidance, leadership development opportunities and access to a global network of experts and professionals.
The ASP is open to African students from low- and middle-income countries who have demonstrated academic excellence and a strong commitment to Africa's development. Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and meet the specific admission requirements of their chosen master's programme.
The selection process is highly competitive and based on academic merit, leadership potential and alignment with the ASP's objectives. Successful candidates will be notified in April 2023 and will be able to start their studies at WUR in September 2023.
