Research Opportunities for African Researchers: CEGA Visiting Fellowship 2025/2026

The Centre for Effective Global Action (CEGA) is pleased to announce the 2025/2026 Visiting Fellowship for African researchers. This fellowship aims to support exceptional African researchers seeking to conduct innovative and impactful research in areas related to global development.

Eligible candidates must be citizens of an African country and hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of excellence in research and a strong commitment to Africa's development.

The grant will provide the selected researchers with a monthly stipend, health insurance cover and a research budget to support their projects. Fellows will also have access to CEGA's resources and guidance, including access to its global network of experts and partners.

CEGA is a leading organisation working to promote effective global development. The visiting fellowship aims to strengthen research capacity in Africa and contribute to the production of knowledge that can inform development policies and practices.

Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their proposals by the deadline of 31 March 2025. Proposals should include a cover letter, a CV, a research proposal and two letters of recommendation.
